The problem
Thirteen thousand pages is a filing problem before it's a design problem. The pages that matter are buried in the ones that don't. The URL structure carries years of decisions nobody remembers making. And every one of those URLs is search equity that vanishes the second it starts 404ing.
The approach
Inventory came before design. Which pages earn traffic. Which earn nothing. Which only exist because nobody ever had the authority to delete them. What survived that cut is what the new information architecture got built around.
Then the unglamorous part. A complete redirect map. Templates that produce correct markup and schema on their own, so it doesn't depend on somebody remembering. A CMS structure marketers can update without filing a ticket.
Webflow Enterprise won mostly on how many people need to be in it at once. The designer, the developer, the analytics team, the SEO strategist, and the marketers changing content day to day.
The result
The site launched on the new platform in three months. The URL structure and the search equity came across with it. And the team that maintains it can change content without waiting on a deployment.
